Localization and multi language support

I want to use the multi language support features provided by the l18N plugin, and I found where to list languages in the individual page settings, but I can't figure out how to turn that into a localized page. What are the next steps? I've looked in the documentation but wasn't able to find the next steps.

the 11ty plugins (like i18n) will work only if you use a CMS
is it your case?

lexoyo I want to, but it appears that I don't know how to install it. I'm using Silex and GitLab, I don't know what CMS to install.

I have written about WordPress integration but maybe the simplest one is squidex. @Jeaan-phi are you still working on it?

lexoyo Thank you! That's a huge help. It would be nice if it had sub-headings or something that said what different steps or groups of steps were trying to accomplish, but having that as a guide for WordPress specifically and a list of possible options for CMS generally is great.

I tried using Supabase as the CMS (documenting what I did as I went along), but got stuck when I tried to connect it to Silex, so now I'm trying Squidex.
