  • Error publishing the website. Gitlab API error: 404 File Not Found

I tried publishing through zip and I'm met with this error:

Any ideas? I'm the owner of the GitLab repository, shouldn't have a perms project. Honestly the switch to GitLab is rattling, but with more time it should be alright. Thanks in advance!

Also aside from CSS and JS Editor coming back, will "Visible On" still be here? Also I miss responsize, the new preview, while is faster, doesn't really generate preview files doesn't it? Maybe an option for both?

I am also met with this error: Gitlab API error (1): 9:reference update: reference does not point to expected object.

Appears when I make changes to the page settings, not the site settings, or if I move values too rapidly. Maybe the autosave feature is rate-limited? Not entirely sure how GitLab works.

Also I noticed, it would be a better idea if, for example, I set the language in the site to fr, it will automatically change the values for all the pages, unless leaving it blank will use the site settings? It's more of a visual feature for the users.

you are supposed to use the "symbols" for that, can you guess how?

      no preview files anymore
      you will need to publish

      hmm :-/
would you try several times and let me know if it works?
also you can send me the link to your gitlab repo?

lexoyo I thought about putting this in to an 'Silex known issues' page, however I'm not allowed to create a page.

          • "GitLab API Error" : you can continue, it still works, it's only a warning.
          • symbols :
            1. you select your element
            2. you go on the symbol tab and clic on the "+"
            3. and after you can drag it
-> if you modify a symbol, the modification is reflected on the other elements (same symbol)

            Oh really ? How come?
You don't have this "new page" button? new page button

I do have it but after creating one in the file browser I get to another page saying
"Unauthorized You cannot create the page." with a login button.

If I try login there I get to the WikiJS page saying:

              "Oops, something went wrong...
The provided authorization grant is invalid, expired, revoked, does not match the redirection URI used in the authorization request, or was issued to another client."

Thanks for explaining how symbols work, basically a tool where if you edit one instance, it also reflects on other instances. I'm just confused how I can use it for "Desktop Only", and "Mobile Only" or both like in v2, the "Visible On" tab?

Hi, I couldn't find your account on "community" or was it under another name?
I think I need to give you Editor access so that you can create a page.
Please register and send me your name, and I'll look into giving you access.

lexoyo I've already tried creating a new one. Without editing anything, it works. But as soon as I add a header, nav, image and some texts, it gives the 404 error.

Hello, you were already in the editors group, so you normally have access to create new pages ...
