Try Silex CMS and Gitlab pages now, help me debug it

Now you can

configure a CMS to design static websites with dynamic data, check the docs
Publish in 1 click to Gitlab pages, and because you are already using Gitlab to strore the website, the user experience is close to "normal" user experience, it feels like Silex is hosting your website 🙂 (it's all free and open source on gitlab side too) check the docs
You can use keyboard shortcuts as discussed here

I will soon start working on a demo video and docs/marketing material, please let me know if you want to help

problems I found

[x] publication with CMS is missing 11ty step and builds like a normal static site
[x] css files when building with 11ty are loaded from /css/css/
[x] google font integration has a CORS problem

Nice features!
I like the 1-click publish function.
Just wondering if it's possible to publish to github page(like what it does in v2) instead of gitlab one. Gitlab requires credit card information to use the pipeline for some reason, and that somehow let things down a bit in someway...?

Hey @JeremyZXi thank you I appreciate the feedback!

It is possible to create a Github+pages connector with this doc
https://docs.silex.me/en/dev/connect

But the new modo of Silex is to stick as much as possible to free software by default - or at the very least open source. This is because I believe it protects the users (and me, us). But the plugin architecture make it possible to integrate with non free too.

Feel free to ask any questions about this (dev or philosophy)
