Im aware that when switching between the different preview modes (desktop, tablet, mobile) the page will look different and need to be adjusted accordingly, but im not sure how I can make those adjustments if the differences are only available to see while previewing. I beleive I may be being shown the tablet view when in desktop edit mode since it is identical to the tablet mode when I am previewing. Does this make sense?
