Hello there,
I am new to Silex and have been exploring its capabilities for building responsive and user friendly websites. I have managed to get started with the basics and successfully created a simple site using one of the available themes. Although; I would now like to customize the theme further, and I have hit a bit of a roadblock.
Change the default font for headings and paragraphs across the site. I have read that Silex allows the integration of Google Fonts, but I am unsure of the exact steps to link a custom font properly without breaking the layout. Are there best practices for doing this?
Modify colors globally e.g., button colors, link hover states, and background sections. Is there a central place to set these, or do I have to adjust each element manually?
Add custom CSS to tweak small design elements like margins and paddings. Is there a built in option within Silex to input custom CSS; or would I need to export the project and adjust it externally?
Also, I have gone through post; https://community.silex.me/d/82-facing-technical-bugs-in-silex- which definitely helped me out a lot.
Lastly; if anyone could point me to helpful documentation or tutorials for these kinds of theme customizations, I would greatly appreciate it. I am hoping to avoid reinventing the wheel if there is already a streamlined way to achieve these changes.
Thank you in advance for your help and assistance. : :
